It’s been a high-profile year for USB memory sticks: they have been the subject of many headlines thanks to a series of losses and theft incidents, and have been exploited as a new vector for spreading malware across networks (thanks to Conficker and related Autorun-exploiting worms).
So, as thumb drives approach their 10th birthday in February 2010, this article in leading security title SC Magazine interviews SanDisk and other key players in the secure flash drive sector, to get their thoughts on the past year, and how they see adoption of the drives growing in the future.
